It's almost 5:30 AM and I had spent some time Friday night considering my choices to visit. Would that have all been wasted time if I bail now? "I must be nuts," I think to myself as I study the current weather conditions via the WTNH website.
Well, after warming the car enough to get the frost off the windows, I head off to my chosen location - at quarter to six in the morning. Yeah, not as early as I wanted to leave. Guess that's what I get for all my daudling and hemming and hawwing hesitating to go out in the cold. I don't like cold - even with thermals on.
But wait! How did I determine where to go in the first place?
In the past, I mentioned my inspiration in trying sunrises and blogged about my first experience. I've had a few more outings since that time and I thought I would add a bit more information from that first posting where I discussed how to shoot a sunrise/sunset called, Shooting a Sunset and a Day Birding of Stratford and Milford,
