There are nights when one might look out into the night, see that big ball in the sky and perhaps sprout fur and fangs, but not this gal! I don't know if it is the pull of the moon during this phase or a chemical burst of some sort, but the creative juices flow like a raging river! Sometimes I can work on creative things right into the wee hours as long as that moon is full!
All things nature get me going too. There's something about communing with nature and admiring the beauty and power nature has to offer - from the animals and plants to the weather itself.
My response to you question would have to be my husband and our local Vet Center. My husband is a Vietnam Veteran and he has PTSD. We've been going to counseling at the center for two years. It's really helped. He has group meetings once a week and I go to a wives meeting a couple times a month. The people at the center have become like family. Our counselors and the other vets are wonderful! We love it there.
So, my inspiration is my husband and all the other veterans we've met. These men and women are amazing. I decided I wanted to give something back to them, so my greeting cards store and Zazzle Military Gear store were born.
Sherry reminded me of why I even started my card store - influenced by a story told to me by a veteran that broke my heart. Stay tuned for that in another post.
